Majesty of Totality

Here in Dallas,
spectacle began at 1:42PM on April 8, 2024.

Here in Dallas,

we were the witness to celestial majesty,

with the moon shrouding the sun.

Only the corona was visible,

with the reddish glow

radiating outwardly and 

creating a panorama of celestial beauty.

This is the most viewed eclipse ever

in the land of freedom.

Totality races through small towns

and big cities alike,

and in its wake,

leaves behind a legacy and legend of celestial experience.

Many people cried, some embraced the 

loved ones, some proposed their lovers--

yes, to mark the majesty 

and magnanimity of totality in their unique ways.
